S'more of the Same??

Once upon a time man discovered fire, and it was great.  But it burned him.  He would learn to harness it though, and soon after, others would also learn to use it for the good it can provide.  Unfortunately, as time passed, fire would become regulated.  Since you can't control nature, they control those who interact with nature.  Eventually no nature remains.  Human nature is an evolving process, but don't walk backwards.  Start the fire.  Let it warm those around...

Some people like the way things are though.  They're comfortable with things remaining relatively the same.  They feel in control.  But by keeping things the same, it's inevitable that things will change, and for the worse.  So to remain in control, you'd think they would change things before things change them.  Is it too late?  That question can only be answered with actions, not words.  Words are hollow.  This world is hollow.  That is unless you act upon it.  The problem is "act" has more than one meaning.  It can mean doing something, but it can also mean simply pretending to do something.  So will we start fires and get warm, or force ourselves to hide our shivers and pretend we're not cold?  Only time will tell...
